The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ageing and Aged Care Council (NATSIAACC) invites Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders for election as our next Chairperson.

This is an opportunity to provide independent leadership to the Board of the national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ageing and Aged Care. The Chairperson will support strong, accountable governance and help ensure the voices, rights and aspirations of Elders and Older People inform NATSIAACC’s priorities and decisions.

We welcome applicants with experience in Board leadership, governance, strategy, community leadership, Ageing and Aged Care, policy or advocacy, and a commitment to strengthening First Nations leadership and Community Control.

Applicants must meet the eligibility and independence requirements outlined in the Information Pack and provide a nomination supported by at least one current NATSIAACC Member organisation.

The Chairperson is a voluntary position. Travel and accommodation for NATSIAACC business are arranged and paid for by NATSIAACC.
