By actively partnering with Elders, community, funders and key stakeholders, Kalwun works to improve a wide range of outcomes for all people. The organisation provides comprehensive primary health care, human services and community care interventions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities in south- east Queensland. Kalwun is also the parent-company to Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre in Burleigh Heads, which forms part of the company’s commitment to delivering essential cultural knowledge to people of the Gold Coast and wider community about the Yugambeh speaking people of this area.
